Welcome to Equi-Clean, we offer a specialised horse rug laundry, rug wash and restoration services including: Cleaning, Reproofing and Repairs.

Equi-Clean is based in Hexham and covering the Tyne Valley, Northumberland, Newcastle, the Scottish Borders, Durham and Cumbria. However, we are please to accept rugs from all over the United Kingdom; England Scotland, Wales, Ireland.

We are run by a small knowledgeable team, who have a great deal of experience with horses.

All services are carried out on our own premises. We are PLEASED to accept dog/pet bedding, in fact any animal laundry.

Our Services

• Cleaning - all rugs are prepared for washing and washed to manufactures guidelines, we use environmentally safe detergents and low temperatures.

• Drying - as recommended by the reproofing experts, Nikwax, all rugs (unless otherwise requested) are commercialy dried at low temperatures to insure the chemical bonding of their product and thus insuring maximum performance from you equipment. Line drying avalibale by request.

• Reproofing - we use only the leading brand Nikwax reproofing agent. We recommend an annual reproofing to insure performance.

• Repairs - all repairs are carried out within our on site workshop. In addition to rugs we are happy to adjust or repair any items of your horses wardrobe.
